Minnequa is a suburban neighborhood in Pueblo, Colorado, where pioneering merchants and other professionals of the Colorado Fuel & Iron company’s enormous Minnequa area steel works found a retreat from the bustle of the busy downtown.

It has a large outdoor covered pavilion adjacent to the Lake Minnequa Veteran’s Memorial Park Concession Building. This regional park showcases 16 acres of athletic turf fields, a 2.5-mile bike and walking trail, seasonal concessions, fishing, four regulation basketball courts, picnic areas, tables, restrooms, trail access, and ample parking spaces.
