Sunset

Pueblo, CO

Sunset is a suburban neighborhood located in Pueblo, CO. It is near Colorado State Fairgrounds, where Lt. Zebulon Pike built the earliest building in Colorado in Pueblo while he traveled this part of West Pueblo. The Colorado State Fairgrounds is still there, and the state fair has been a tradition since October 9, 1872. This event is held annually in late August. It is the one time of year when you enjoy live music, carnival, rodeo, livestock shows, petting zoos, fried foods, taste-testing Colorado’s craft beers, Green Chili Championship, and other attractions. The state fair is something extra that Pueblo enjoyed on the southwestern edge of the city.
