Lower Eastside median real estate price is less expensive than 98.2% of Colorado neighborhoods and its real estate is primarily made up of medium-sized single-family homes and small apartment buildings. The neighborhood is also home to the oldest parts of the city with portions constructed prior to 1940 as well as some of its new homes. The majority of the houses found in the older sections are small single-story structures with a few architecturally unique “craftsman style” homes spread throughout.
The neighborhood is focused on improving the quality of life for its residents by building and promoting a shared sense of community pride and concern through the revitalization and expansion of opportunities for social interaction and improving the physical condition of the public. The lower Eastside has made great steps in enforcing proper health and land use codes throughout the neighborhood. Residents enjoy living in the neighborhood and they especially appreciate the quietness of the area, its affordability, and the convenience of the shopping areas.
