The Blocks neighborhood is one of the oldest and most charming areas in Central Pueblo. Located atop a bluff overlooking the Arkansas River, this residential area is characterized by winding streets and lush green parks. Some of the most popular parks in the area include Delevan Park, Grome Park, and Jackson Park, all of which offer scenic views of the river and plenty of space for recreation and relaxation.
The Blocks neighborhood is known for its idyllic setting atop the river bluffs and its beautiful parks and homes. Over the years, this charming residential community has grown steadily, attracting buyers from all over the city. Today, the Blocks is home to various unique buildings, including the Marlborough Flats boardinghouse on Admirado Avenue, used initially as a boardinghouse in the early 20th century. At the same time, the Andrew McClelland Carnegie Public Library on Royal Park, Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Entrando Avenue, and Corona School on Lindo Avenue are National Historic Landmarks.
