Central Pueblo

Local Real Estate Guide

Pueblo has always been a dominant part of Colorado’s colorful history dating back to 1842 when it was called Fort Pueblo, which brought the railroad to Colorado. The area formerly had four separate towns comprised of Pueblo, South Pueblo, Central Pueblo, and Bessemer. In 1894, these four towns consolidated into one substantial entity that now makes up the City of Pueblo. Together, these neighborhoods became an economic hub for business and culture in southeastern Colorado. Back then, Pueblo was one of the largest steel-producing cities in the United States.

In 2020, Pueblo celebrated its 150th anniversary as a city. It is an international, multiracial, and multicultural community that welcomes diversity and blending of cultures. The Central Pueblo neighborhood has a flourishing business setting with a skilled workforce, natural resources, and abundant water supply.
